So proud of Max and this team for fighting till the end. Made a race of it, and finished pushing like they always do. That was an epic run for number 1.????????? Max wins here in Abu Dhabi, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to take the Championship. A strong effort and great teamwork all the way ????

A single lap of additional fuel adds roughly 0.03 to 0.05 seconds (generally accepted values). Which means that if he was 7 laps heavier (impossible to know exactly), that would equate to about 0.2 seconds per lap of lap time pace initially. Using hte 0.03 sec/lap burn off

The fact that Max did 7 more laps in race sim than Lando means that he was carrying more fuel on those initial laps than Lando was. With that context, this is actually a really competitive and close race sim between the two drivers. He will have also been loading the tyres a bitFor the final time in 2025, here are the FP2 long runs ????????
