I would add to this to say @FormulaStudent is mandatory, but you need to do something above and beyond, either in that or outside. Make yourself stand out.
A good starting point is reading books. Not just relying on online sources.Want to work in Motorsport?
My tips:
-Graduate (master’s is preferred) in an engineering field of your interest (or even physics). Get a solid grasp of basics (Physics, calculus, programming)
-While in Uni, do join your local Formula Student/SAE team!
-Best books:

I'd be really keen to understand the full life cycle analysis of this vs ICE cars and hybrids. Certainly the large frontal area will be drag inducing and that in itself is an energy cost. Weight is a big factor too in localised air quality. This thing just does not seem efficientOnly when you drive the Cybertruck do you realize how incredible it is: a bulletproof tank that moves like a million dollar sports car!
