From the point of view of data collection, it wasn’t an easy day, as there was really only an hour or so of dry running without interruptions. This means that the teams had to adjust their strategies and compress their programmes in order to maximise that period of time, especially because conditions are expected to be quite uncertain for the rest of the weekend. On FP1, the Teams were able to work on the crossover point between wet and slick tyres, while on FP2 they do some long runs, despite the red flag period, and to understand the gap between the compounds.
